{Froyo} Qoola Oakridge

This post is long overdue but better late than never?

As a post final exam treat to myself, I decided that I was going to stop by Oakridge and find something to eat.
I don’t know about you but after an exam I’m always down for something cold and sweet.
So after debating with myself (I’m not crazy, I swear) I narrowed down my sweet tooth cravings to getting either a slurpee or froyo or both!

I took this opportunity to check out the Qoola at Oakridge Mall. After my not so awesome experience at the Metrotown location, I was a bit hesitant to try it again.
Anyways, I am glad that I gave it a second try because I really enjoyed it this time!

What I like most about the Oakridge Qoola is that it is VERY clean. It seems like there is ALWAYS someone out and about in the self serve area wiping down the counters.

I tried the green tea yogurt and a little bit of the original. I like the green tea flavor more than the original. I personally don’t like plain and vanilla yogurt because of the taste but the green tea one was really good. Compared to Pinkberry’s green tea yogurt, Qoola’s was a lot sweeter and the flavor was a lot more diluted. But as I said before, Qoola is a lot more cheaper than Pinkberry and you are paying for quality.

needs more gummy bears

All in all my little creation was a bit over $6 but I definitely enjoyed it 10x more than last time. Maybe because I’m not a self serve noob anymore?
Maybe I’m just really slow with these things but the mango syrup was really really good. I now know why people drizzle the life out of the bottle of mango syrup into their cup.

All in all, I am definitely coming back!
